Kris Jenner Pulls the Plug: A Health Journey with a Dash of Reality Show Drama
Kris Jenner just hit a health detour that even her famous reality show couldn't script. The momager extraordinaire shared her plans to remove her ovaries due to a tumor, and then decided to go all in by removing her uterus too, saying, "Let’s not give anything a chance to grow anywhere."
"I'm gonna have a hysterectomy," Kris spilled to friends Kathy Hilton and Faye Resnick on the July 11 episode of "The Kardashians". "It started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I got a phone call."
The 68-year-old's doctor gave her the double-whammy advice: get both the ovaries and uterus removed. "They found something, we're here to fix it," Kris, who birthed Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie, explained. "I'm going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life."
Although Kris assured her friends she was "fine" with the procedure, her confessional revealed her sentimental side. "I'm very emotional about it, because when you're young, you start talking about wanting a family," she said. "We talked about it literally for 40, 50 years. So, here we are now talking about it again, and it's the other side of the process."
But don't worry, Kris knows she can count on her support squad. In a teaser for the July 18 episode, she’s seen recovering at home with Khloe and Scott Disick paying her a visit. "I'm done with my surgery," she told the cameras, "and I feel great!"
New episodes of "The Kardashians" air Thursdays on Hulu, promising more drama, laughs, and family moments that keep us all tuning in.
