In a candid chat on the "Dumb Blonde" podcast, country star Elle King didn't mince words about her relationship with her dad, "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" actor Rob Schneider. Turns out, behind the Hollywood glitz, being Schneider's kid was no walk in the park—more like a marathon through an emotional obstacle course.

Elle revealed that she and her dad had a relationship as rocky as a bag of gravel, with gaps in communication that could last years. "He's just not nice," she stated bluntly, smashing childhood dreams everywhere, especially for BunnieXO, the podcast host who admitted to once crushing on Schneider. Cue the sound of a million hearts breaking.

King shared that her childhood summers with dear ol' dad were more "lost in a movie set" than "family fun time." And as if the spotlight wasn’t harsh enough, Schneider sent her to fat camp—because nothing says 'I love you' quite like shipping your kid off to lose weight. But, in a plot twist, she sprained her ankle and didn’t shed the pounds. Talk about a summer blockbuster flop.

Elle didn’t hold back, either, on how her dad's opinions rubbed her the wrong way—specifically his thoughts on tattoos, drag, and other issues that don’t exactly scream "progressive dad." She made it clear that she’s not in his corner on those matters, throwing some serious shade that would make even the sun jealous.

And then there were the birthdays—or lack thereof. Apparently, Schneider couldn’t be bothered to remember a single one of them, leaving Elle to celebrate her 18th in summer school with cupcakes, while dad had a case of selective amnesia.

Despite the emotional rollercoaster that was growing up Schneider, Elle remains resilient. She’s Team Elle all the way, with BunnieXO right there beside her. As for the rest of us? Well, we'll be rethinking our nostalgic love for "Deuce Bigalow."
